“ I fell in love with the risotto served here, gnocchi was equally amazing & so the aglio y olio. Service is superb. Comparative to most Venetian restaurants charging cuperto or cover charge, this place does not charge that. On top of that prices are reasonable, food is exceptional. We ended up visiting twice. ”
“ Service: My husband and I stopped in for lunch during a walking tour, so we didn’t have much time but the service was so amazing that it wasn’t even stressful. They also sat us before their opening time on Google maps, which we were thankful for given our time limitation with the tour. Food: As soon as we walked in the restaurant, the scent of the food was amazing & I was so excited. We got linguine with clams and frutti di mare and I was right to be excited as both were amazing. Perfectly cooked seafood and pasta. Yummy flavors in the sauces. Would highly recommend Al Gallo d’Oro ”
“ Food was delicious! The mixed fried fish consists of prawns, octopus, calamari and anchovies and was crispy without it being oily (Eur20). My husband has the seabass filled ravioli and he enjoyed it though the portion isn't too filling (Eur17). The thinly sliced grilled vegetables were well grilled (Eur6). Service was adequate and friendly and we enjoyed the lunch here. No cover charge and no service charge in this restaurant. ”
“ The food was amazing. Decent sizes and so tasty. The staff are friendly and attentive and the prices reasonable. No extra hidden charges. The restaurant is very typical Italian setting. We had an amazing dinner, My husband had the seafood pasta and I had the lasagna. And don't forget the dessert! I ordered a dessert for one and they gave us 2 and only charged for 1. The owner ( I think), mustve known I was not planning on sharing and felt bad for my hubby. Highly recommended. ”
“ They offered both indoor and outdoor seatings. The atmosphere was great, the service and food were even better. The staff were very accommodating, even the owner were friendly service. We had calamari for starter, black squid ink and lobster linguine for main and Panna cotta for dessert, it was so good. More importantly the restaurant does not charge cover charge/ service charge on top. Highly recommend. ”
